16-port VGA KVM console
The StarTech RKCONS1716K integrates a 17-inch active-matrix TFT LCD, keyboard and touchpad into a 1U rackmount chassis. It provides local control for up to 16 servers or PCs through VGA and USB or PS/2 connections. The console supports video resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz with a 5:4 aspect ratio. A single operator can manage the entire server room from this unit.
Rack integration and cabling
The console occupies 1.70 inches of vertical rack space and includes mounting rails, M5 cage nuts and screws for installation. Sixteen VGA KVM cables are supplied, each carrying video, USB and PS/2 signals to the connected computers. International power cords for five regions are provided, allowing the 100-240 V AC supply to be used worldwide. Two USB 2.0 and two PS/2 ports on the console accept local keyboard and mouse input.
