STARTECH
A 25 ft blue Cat 6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors, 24 AWG copper conductors and 500 MHz rating for 10 Gbps links up to 160 ft, plus 100 W PoE support
The StarTech C6PATCH25BL is a 25 ft Cat 6 UTP patch cable with RJ45 connectors on both ends. It uses 24 AWG stranded 100 percent copper conductors and a moulded boot design. The blue jacket makes it easy to identify in a rack or desk run.
Replacing a Cat 5e link with this cable enables 2.5 Gbps, 5 Gbps and 10 Gbps operation up to 160 ft where the switch and NIC support those speeds. The jump is worth it when you need multi‑gigabit throughput or 100 W PoE without pulling new cable later.
Rated to 500 MHz and built to TIA/EIA‑568‑B.1‑2001 T568B wiring, the cable maintains signal integrity over long PoE or multi‑gigabit sessions. ETL verification and UL‑rated wire (E132276) confirm consistent performance under continuous load.

This cable uses RJ45 connectors on both ends and measures 25 ft end to end, so plan for that reach and port type.
Keep bend radii gentle and avoid sharp kinks; the stranded 24 AWG copper is flexible but can fatigue if crushed or tightly wrapped.
Replace it if the jacket shows cuts, connectors feel loose, or PoE devices negotiate below 100 W, as damage or wear can limit power delivery.
