STARTECH
A 14 ft shielded Cat6a patch cable built with 26 AWG stranded copper and foil-plus-braid shielding for 10 Gigabit and 100 W PoE runs tested to ANSI/TIA-568-D
This 14 ft shielded Cat6a cable provides a 10 Gigabit Ethernet link for workstations, servers or network appliances that require verified noise immunity. It suits installers who need a factory-terminated patch cord with proven EMI and RFI rejection.
The double-shield construction wraps each pair in foil and adds an overall braid, suppressing cross-talk in dense cable trays or near power runs. A snagless boot protects the latch during frequent reconnects while the PVC jacket resists abrasion in rack environments.
Replacing unshielded cables with this STP assembly removes interference that can throttle throughput or drop PoE sessions. The jump is worth it when 100 W PoE devices share pathways with fluorescent lighting, motor drives or other noise sources.

The Cat6a rating supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections across the full 14 ft length.
It uses 26 AWG stranded copper conductors with aluminum-polyester foil and tinned copper braid shielding.
Press the boot tab down gently before inserting or removing the connector; pulling the cable without releasing the latch can break the snagless mechanism.
