Universal sorbent pad for facility spills

The Stardust pad absorbs the full universal range of liquids including hazardous and non-hazardous fluids. Each bale contains 100 pads sized at 15 x 18 in with a total absorption capacity of 21 gal. Gray color identifies the universal rating and helps conceal absorbed grime. Fast-wicking melt-blown polypropylene fibers pull liquid in quickly to reduce downtime.

Absorption limits of universal melt-blown

The material handles oils, coolants, solvents and water-based fluids in a single product. Ultrasonic weld points bind the fibers to reduce lint and keep the pad intact during heavy use. Once a pad reaches saturation it must be replaced; no re-use or wringing is possible. Disposal follows local regulations for the absorbed liquid type.

Capacity and headroom for daily leak management

A 21 gal bale covers repeated small drips and moderate spills around machinery or in tight spots. Heavy-weight construction adds tensile strength for wiping tasks without tearing. For very large discharges the finite 21 gal volume will be exceeded and additional sorbents such as socks or booms become necessary.
