What the set contains

This STAEDTLER Lumocolor set supplies eight permanent markers in yellow, red, blue, orange, green, violet, brown and black. Each pen uses a superfine felt tip of approximately .4mm for detailed writing, colouring and labelling on paper, plastic, glass, metal, wood, film and optical discs. The low-odour ink is quick-drying, smudge-proof and waterproof once dry.

Surfaces the ink handles

The permanent formula adheres to most common materials including vellum, cardboard, styrofoam and stone, but adhesion can vary on very smooth or non-porous substrates such as polished metal or certain coated plastics. Ink remains waterproof and smudge-proof on surfaces where it bonds, yet may be removable from glass or ceramic with solvents. Very rough or fibrous surfaces can wear the fine tip faster than paper.

Opening and everyday use

The pens are housed in an easel storage case that keeps tips upright and visible. Dry Safe technology lets them stay uncapped for days without drying out, so they are ready whenever needed. Refillable barrels extend service life. The only common issue is tip deformation if excessive pressure is applied during writing or drawing.
