This SonicWall TZ80 appliance is built to serve as the standby unit in a high-availability pair with an identical standalone firewall. It provides continuous network protection through automatic failover if the primary device goes offline. The appliance targets small offices and branch locations that require uninterrupted security services without managing complex clustering configurations. It ships new and ready for immediate deployment.

Five Gigabit Ports and Throughput Figures

Five 1GbE RJ45 ports handle all traffic inspection at up to 750 Mbps for firewall, threat prevention, application inspection, IPS and anti-malware throughput. TLS/SSL inspection and encryption runs at 250 Mbps while IPsec VPN performance reaches 750 Mbps. Deep packet inspection services include gateway anti-virus, anti-spyware, intrusion prevention, DPI SSL, content filtering, anti-spam, application control, Capture ATP sandboxing and DNS filtering. Maximum power draw is 11.6 W from a 36 W input.
