The SMUGDESK NC-3 ARGB RAM Heatsink ships as a matched pair of aluminium radiators built for desktop DDR4 and DDR5 modules. Each unit clamps onto the memory stick to pull heat away from the chips and spread it into case airflow. Integrated addressable RGB strips connect to a standard 5 V 3-pin motherboard header and synchronise with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light and Gigabyte RGB Fusion software for unified lighting control.

5 V 3-Pin ARGB Motherboard Sync

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 5 V 3-pin addressable RGB header on the motherboard. Without this exact connector the lighting cannot be controlled or synchronised. The kit includes high-adhesive thermal silicone pads that mate the aluminium shell to the memory ICs and PCB, ensuring efficient heat transfer without scratching the board during installation.

Low-Profile Passive Thermal Performance

The ultra-thin, hollow-grooved aluminium alloy body adds minimal height so it clears most CPU coolers and does not impede case airflow. Heat from the memory particles conducts through the pads into the enlarged fin surface and dissipates passively into the chassis airstream. Because the design is completely fanless it adds zero acoustic noise and draws no additional power beyond the negligible LED current.
