Double-sided tape for RC electronics

This 20 mm wide double-sided tape comes in a 2 metre roll designed for securing electronic components inside radio-controlled cars. The adhesive is formulated to hold receivers, servos and gyroscopes firmly in place during vibration and manoeuvres. It is cut-to-length for quick installation during assembly, modification or routine maintenance. Clean, dry surfaces give the strongest bond.

High-temperature resistance limits

The tape maintains stable adhesion when internal temperatures rise during model operation, preventing components from detaching due to heat. Performance is specified for typical RC running temperatures; sustained exposure beyond that range is not covered by the supplier data. Prolonged direct contact with extremely hot surfaces such as motor casings or speed-controller heatsinks may exceed the rated resistance. Users should verify suitability for any application hotter than normal RC electronics.

Capacity and headroom for component mounting

A single 2 metre roll provides enough length for multiple receiver, servo and gyro installations across several builds or repairs. The 20 mm width suits standard mounting footprints on Tamiya chassis and similar platforms. Very large components or extensive chassis reinforcement may require additional rolls. The tape is not intended for structural bonding of heavy mechanical loads beyond electronic-module retention.
