Six-section legal folders

Smead 19076 pressboard classification folders provide six distinct filing surfaces within a single legal-size folder. Two 17-pt fiberboard dividers create the sections while 25-pt pressboard covers handle heavy daily use. The gray-green stock contains 100 percent total recycled content with 30 percent post-consumer material and is SFI fiber-sourcing certified. Each box supplies 10 folders for office filing systems.

Two-inch expansion spine

A 2-inch expanding spine and matching 2-inch fastener capacity let each folder hold bulky project files without splitting. SafeSHIELD coated fasteners reduce the risk of hand injuries, torn pages and excessive crinkling during frequent access. The 2/5-cut tabs sit right of center on the cover and align with Viewables multipurpose labels 64915 for consistent labeling across the cabinet.

Legal sheet capacity

Folders accept 8 1/2 by 14 inch legal sheets and expand to accommodate large volumes, though the 2-inch limit means extremely thick case files may require multiple folders. Divider tabs use a 1/3-cut format that differs from the cover tabs, so labeling both levels takes separate passes. Buyers needing letter-size folders or more than six sections per folder will need a different product.
