The Slinger 55L cabinet maintains a controlled 30 to 60 percent relative humidity range to protect cameras, lenses and accessories from moisture, mould and corrosion. Three adjustable padded shelves let you configure the interior for a DSLR with a long lens, a mirrorless body and smaller items. A built-in combination lock secures the contents against unauthorised access. Thermoelectric desiccation runs without a compressor for silent, vibration-free operation.

Limits of thermoelectric humidity control

The cabinet consumes less than 8 W of DC power and regulates humidity without producing heat, making it suitable for continuous use in quiet environments. Because it relies on a solid-state wafer rather than a compressor, dehumidification speed is slower than active refrigeration systems and may struggle in very high ambient humidity. The sealed, double-paned glass door preserves the internal climate but prevents rapid access when power is lost. No external drainage or consumable desiccants are required.

Aluminium and steel construction with combination

The cabinet body uses durable aluminium and steel finished in black, with a double-paned glass window that lets you inspect gear without opening the door. Foam pads on each shelf cushion equipment during movement or vibration. The integrated combination lock engages automatically when the door closes, removing the need for separate keys. Adjustable shelf rails allow quick reconfiguration as your kit changes.
