Wear Sleeve for 89.92–90.07 mm Shafts

The SKF 99353 wear sleeve fits shafts between 89.92 mm and 90.07 mm. It is made from chromium-plated stainless steel for heavy industrial applications. The sleeve provides a hardened running surface for rotary shaft seals. It operates at temperatures up to 225 Degrees F.

Capacity and Headroom

The sleeve adds 0.28 mm wall thickness to the shaft with an overall width of 16.94 mm and a 13.36 mm width on the shaft. The flange diameter is 101.6 mm with an outside diameter tolerance of +/- 1.6 mm. Width tolerance is +/- 0.8 mm. It cannot compensate for shaft damage exceeding the wall thickness or diameters outside the stated range.

Replaces Worn Seal Surfaces

This sleeve upgrades a grooved or corroded shaft without re-machining or replacement. The jump is worth it when the original surface finish is too poor for a new seal to function. It is not for shafts smaller than 89.92 mm or larger than 90.07 mm, nor for non-industrial light-duty uses.
