This 10ft USB-C to Surface Connect cable lets you charge compatible Microsoft Surface devices from any 45W 15V/3A USB-C PD charger or power bank. It replaces the original proprietary adapter so you can carry one compact cable for your Surface, phone and other USB-C gear. The male-to-male design plugs directly into the device and the charger without extra dongles. Copper conductors and a TVP outer jacket keep the cable light and durable for daily transport.

Build and Everyday Use

Pure copper cores suppress heat during charging while the black TVP sheath resists wear from frequent coiling. An integrated LED indicator shows when power is flowing, helping you confirm a good connection at a glance. The 10ft length gives plenty of reach between a wall outlet or power bank and your workspace. Because the cable carries only power, it cannot transmit data or video signals, so a separate link is needed for file transfers or external displays.

Power Delivery Constraints

The cable delivers up to 15V/2.6A (39W) and requires a charger that explicitly supports 15V/3A at 45W or higher; 18W, 24W or 29W units will not work. Most phone and tablet chargers lack the 15V rail and cannot power the cable. On Surface Pro 8/9 and Surface Laptop 4/5/6 (15") the system may report a slow charger warning, yet the 39W output still sustains normal work and media playback. Buyers who need data transfer or higher wattage for larger Surface models cannot use this cable.
