Cut-resistant gloves for general use

The Showa Best Glove 545-L is a pair of blue and grey knit gloves designed for hand protection in general-purpose tasks. They use a seamless HPPE knit construction with a dipped palm coating that covers the palm area. The gloves meet ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A2 and EN 388 rating 4242B for cut and abrasion resistance. They are sold new as a single pair in size large.

Dipped coating improves grip and abrasion resistance

The palm coating adds a layer of protection that raises the ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Level to 6, the highest rating on that scale. A finished hem prevents fraying at the wrist opening during repeated use. The ambidextrous design fits either hand without a specific left or right designation. No additional hazard protections such as insulation or chemical resistance are included with this model.

Standards define the tested protection limits

Performance is certified to ANSI 105 and EN388 4242B, which cover cut, tear, puncture and abrasion resistance under laboratory conditions. The A2 cut rating indicates protection against low to moderate cut hazards but not high-force blades or sharp edges. The gloves are not insulated, so they do not protect against heat or cold exposure. Buyers needing higher cut levels, thermal protection or chemical resistance should select a different glove specification.
