Retro console converter for HDMI displays

The Setuact AV2HD_03 converts analogue RCA composite signals from consoles such as the N64, Wii, PS2, PS3 or original Xbox into a 720p or 1080p HDMI stream. It also works with VCR, VHS, DVD players and set-top boxes that output composite video. The box supports PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N TV standards. Power comes from an included USB cable that must be connected to a 5 volt source.

Check composite output and HDMI input before buying

Verify that your source device provides a yellow, white and red RCA composite output; the converter cannot accept S-Video, component or SCART signals. Confirm your TV or monitor has a free HDMI port capable of 720p or 1080p at 60 Hz. A 5 volt USB power supply is required and is not included in the package. The unit is one-way only and will not convert HDMI back to RCA.

Detachable cables and compact black enclosure

The converter ships with a 3.3 foot RCA cable, a 3.3 foot HDMI cable and a 2.6 foot micro-USB power cable, all detachable for alternative uses. The black plastic housing weighs 0.17 kilograms and is small enough to sit behind a display or tuck into a media cabinet. Plug-and-play operation needs no drivers; simply connect the cables, supply USB power and select the correct input on the screen.
