Baking and handling limits

The clay must be cured in a conventional oven at the temperature and time specified on the packaging; it cannot be air-dried or microwave-cured. Over-baking will darken the red pigment, so accurate oven calibration matters. Unused portions should be wrapped tightly and stored cool to prevent the surface from drying out. The material is non-toxic but is not rated for food-contact surfaces, so keep finished items decorative.
