This 2 oz block of black oven-bake clay stays soft and flexible until it is heated in a standard kitchen oven. It will not air-dry on the work surface, so sessions can be paused and resumed without the material hardening. The non-toxic formula makes it suitable for classroom use and home crafting alike. Unused portions can be wrapped and stored for later projects.

Works with basic kitchen equipment

No kiln or specialised tools are required; a household oven provides the heat needed to cure the clay into a durable solid. The material accepts shaping by hand or with common household items such as cookie cutters and rolling pins. Once baked, the finished piece can be sanded, drilled or painted with acrylic colours. The small 2 oz portion suits single figurines, beads or holiday ornaments.

Single-colour block with open-ended use

The pack contains only the black clay itself — no tools, moulds or project guides are included. Builders supply their own work surface, cutting implements and any decorative finishes they wish to apply. Because the clay remains reusable until baked, the same block can serve multiple practice attempts before final curing. Each colour in the Bake Shop range is sold separately.
