The Schneider Electric XVBC38 is a steady LED indicator designed for 240 V AC systems. It fits XVP-series tower lights with a 70 mm diameter and a BA 15d base. The amber lens uses a Fresnel design for clear visibility in industrial settings. Operators and maintenance teams use it to signal machine status on production lines.

Amber Fresnel lens improves side visibility

The polycarbonate Fresnel lens spreads the amber light across a wide angle so the signal can be seen from the side as well as head-on. Steady illumination removes the distraction of flashing while still drawing attention to a fault or run condition. The 10 W LED runs at 0.030 A, keeping power draw low on control panels. No lamp is included, so the module is ready for the specified LED base.

NEMA 4X polycarbonate housing resists wash-down

The housing and lens are both polycarbonate rated NEMA 4X, providing protection against water ingress and corrosion during wash-down cycles. Operating temperature spans -13 °F to 131 °F, covering cold storage and hot process areas. The 63 mm module height keeps the overall stack compact on the XVP tower. Standards include CCC, CSA C22.2 No. 14, EAC and UL 508. Not suited for applications requiring a flashing beacon or a different voltage rating.
