13 Ah D-cell lithium pack

This six-pack delivers 3.6 volt lithium thionyl chloride cells rated at 13 Ah each, providing very high nominal capacity for long-duration primary power. They suit utility meters, remote sensors, tracking beacons and similar industrial devices that must run for years without maintenance. The button-top termination fits standard D-size holders. Buyers who need rechargeable cells or consumer alkaline sizes cannot use these.

Sustained 1.8 A with 4 A pulses

The chemistry supports a maximum recommended continuous current of 1.8 A and can supply pulse currents up to 4 A for brief transmissions or actuator bursts. Voltage remains stable across the operating range of -60 °C to +85 °C, so performance does not collapse in extreme cold or heat. Self-discharge stays below 1 % per year at 20 °C, preserving capacity during long storage or standby periods. Applications demanding continuous high-current draw beyond 1.8 A will exceed the design limit.

Hermetic steel can with 10-year shelf life

Each cell measures 33 mm diameter by 61.5 mm height and weighs 100 g, matching the standard D form factor while using a hermetic stainless-steel can. The inorganic electrolyte is non-flammable and non-pressurised at ambient temperature, though it is corrosive if the can is breached. Low magnetic signature and excellent humidity resistance allow deployment in sensitive or harsh environments. Units requiring vented or rechargeable constructions are not compatible.
