SAFT LS33600 3.6 V D lithium pack

This six-pack supplies 3.6 volt D-size lithium thionyl chloride cells rated at 17 Ah each. They suit industrial sensors, utility meters and remote monitors that need very long service intervals. The chemistry is not rechargeable and is unsuitable for high-drain consumer electronics.

Continuous current limited to 250 mA

The cells deliver a maximum continuous current of 250 mA with pulse capability up to 400 mA. Designs drawing more than this will see voltage collapse or reduced capacity. The low self-discharge rate of less than 1 % per year at 20 °C supports standby operation for a decade or more.

Button-top termination and wide temperature range

Each cell measures 33 mm diameter by 61.5 mm height and weighs 90 g with a button-top contact. The inorganic electrolyte is non-flammable and non-pressurised at ambient temperature but remains corrosive if the case is breached. Operating range spans -60 °C to +85 °C with strong resistance to humidity and a low magnetic signature.
