Dedicated Zone Control for Russound Systems

The IPK-1 is a single-gang IP keypad that gives instant, tactile control over a Russound audio zone. It works with MCA-66, MCA-88, MBX-AMP and MBX-PRE systems, removing the need to unlock a phone and open an app for everyday adjustments. The interface is designed for intuitive operation without programming, so family members and guests can adjust volume or select favourites immediately. It suits installations where a permanent, always-available wall control is preferred over mobile-only access.

Silent Operation with PoE Power

The keypad draws power through a standard 802.3af PoE connection, eliminating the need for a local power supply or separate transformer. Because it has no internal fan or moving parts, it runs completely silent, making it suitable for bedrooms and quiet living spaces. Status and volume LEDs illuminate only during active adjustments and turn off when the system is idle, preventing unwanted light in darkened rooms. A wired Ethernet connection is required for both data and power delivery.

Shallow Mount with Decora Compatibility

The unit requires a mounting depth of 26.2 mm behind the faceplate, allowing it to fit in standard single-gang boxes with limited cavity space. Black and white Decora inserts are included in the box, letting the keypad match common switch aesthetics without extra cost. The Decora wall-plate itself is not included and must be sourced separately to complete the installation. This combination of shallow depth and standard insert sizing simplifies retrofit and new-build projects alike.
