Wide-Angle Prime for Micro Four Thirds

The Rokinon 16mm f/2.0 ED AS UMC CS is a manual-focus prime lens built for Micro Four Thirds cameras. Its 16mm focal length delivers a 79.5° angle of view, equivalent to 25.6mm on a 35mm format. The fast f/2.0 maximum aperture suits low-light scenes and shallow depth-of-field work. Two aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element reduce aberrations, while UMC coating cuts ghosting and flare.

Manual Focus and APS-C Image Circle

This lens uses a purely mechanical focus ring with a minimum focusing distance of 7.9 inches (0.2m). It is designed for APS-C image sensors, so the image circle covers the Micro Four Thirds frame fully but will not fill a full-frame sensor without vignetting. The aperture is controlled on the lens barrel and has no electronic communication with the camera body. Filter threads measure 77mm and a removable hood is included.
