PCI analog telephony card

The RobyTech TDM400P is a PCI adapter that adds four analog ports to a standard computer. It ships with three FXO modules for PSTN lines and one FXS module for a telephone handset. System integrators and small-business installers use it to build an Asterisk, Issabel or FreePBX voice platform on commodity hardware. The card targets deployments that need a handful of trunk and extension ports without a dedicated appliance.

Four-port FXO/FXS mix

A single PCI slot provides both inbound trunk connections and a local extension, freeing the builder from separate gateway boxes. The red FXO modules attach to the public switched telephone network while the green FXS module feeds an analogue phone. DAHDI 2.2.0 drivers expose four channels to the PBX software, so call routing, voicemail and IVR run on the same host. No external power supply or rack space is required beyond the PCI slot itself.

Sustained channel operation

Under continuous call load the card maintains stable signalling across all four DAHDI channels with MG2 echo cancellation active. The PCI bus supplies sufficient bandwidth for concurrent voice streams without packet loss or driver resets. Thermal output stays low because the board has no active cooling and draws minimal current from the slot. Installers report reliable uptime in always-on PBX and call-centre roles.
