Axis & Allies North Africa places players in command of German and Italian forces or British and American armies across the Mediterranean theatre. The board game recreates the unique logistical challenges of desert warfare where supply lines determine victory. Designed for two to four participants aged twelve and above, each session spans three to six hours of strategic decision-making. Components and Setup

Over two hundred fifty plastic miniatures populate the map, including six new unit types such as the SdKfz 231, Panzer IV tank, six-pounder anti-tank gun, CMP truck, SOMUA S35 tank and LRDG jeep. The box contains two distinct scenarios, Rommel's Last Push and Operation Torch, offering different starting positions and objectives. A spacious table is required to accommodate the map, unit trays and supply tracks. Players who prefer compact games or very short sessions may find the footprint and duration demanding.

Long-Game Dynamics

Extended play rewards careful convoy protection and forward planning rather than quick tactical strikes. As the campaign progresses, maintaining supply routes across sea lanes and coastal ports becomes the decisive factor.
