The Really Right Stuff Bi-Directional Plate integrates a Quick Detach socket for shoulder straps directly into a camera mounting plate. Precision CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a Type II black anodized finish, it centers the strap on the tripod socket to prevent twisting. A captive 1/4"-20 screw secures the plate to the camera body while an anti-twist flange ensures a rigid connection.

Replaces Separate Strap Loops and Tripod Plates

This single component combines the functions of a quick-release plate and a strap attachment point, removing the need to swap hardware when moving between handheld and tripod work. The bi-directional dovetail design allows the anti-twist flange to mount against either the front or rear of the camera body for broad compatibility.
