The Ranger Lock Super Extended guard fits trailer swing doors that need a longer reach than standard hardware provides. It accepts padlocks with shackle heights from 1 1/4 in to 2 1/2 in and a maximum shackle diameter of 7/16 in. The hardened-steel body is finished in black for a clean look on commercial or utility trailers.

Shackle Compatibility Range

The critical specification is the shackle window: 1 1/4 in to 2 1/2 in height and up to 7/16 in diameter. If your padlock falls outside this range the guard will not close or the shackle will not pass through. Measure your existing padlock before ordering to avoid a mismatch.

Weather-Resistant Steel Construction

Hardened steel resists cutting and prying while the black coating adds corrosion protection for outdoor exposure. The guard operates without moving parts of its own so there is no mechanism to freeze or rattle in transit. Normal use adds no measurable friction to the padlock action.
