This six-pack supplies 10 V, 3 W UVC bulbs that match GermGuardian GG1100W, GG1000, GG1100B, GG1000CA, LB-1000, GGH200 and 661000CA air purifiers. Each tubular lamp uses an E17 intermediate screw base and measures 2.1 in long by 0.66 in wide. The set is intended for owners of those specific purifier models who need a direct drop-in replacement. Buyers with purifiers that use a different voltage, base type or bulb length will not be able to use these lamps.

253.7 nm peak wavelength

The single specification that determines fit is the 253.7 nm short-wave UVC output combined with a 10 V, 3 W electrical rating and E17 base. Only purifiers designed for that exact wavelength, voltage and screw type will operate the bulb correctly and safely. If the original equipment calls for a different peak wavelength, a higher or lower voltage, or a different base style, this bulb will not function as a germicidal source in that device.

Eight-month effective life per bulb

Under continuous operation each lamp remains effective for up to eight months before its UVC output degrades below the level needed for germicidal action. The six-pack therefore provides roughly four years of coverage when bulbs are changed sequentially. Output decline is gradual rather than sudden, so the purifier continues to run but with diminishing disinfection performance after the rated period.
