The PROZOR PRR096 converts analog RCA composite signals from consoles such as PS1, PS2, N64, Wii and original Xbox into HDMI 1080p 60Hz output for modern displays. It also accepts PAL and NTSC sources from VCR, VHS and DVD players. Gold-plated connectors on the RCA inputs, HDMI output and included 1.5ft HDMI cable improve signal integrity. A 4:3 and 16:9 aspect-ratio switch preserves the original picture shape on widescreen screens.

HDMI 1.3 and DVI 1.0 Output Limits

The converter delivers video at HDMI 1.3V and DVI 1.0 specification levels, capping the digital output at 1080p 60Hz. Input formats are restricted to standard-definition PAL 576i and NTSC 480i signals with colour sub-carriers at 3.58 and 4.43 MHz. No upscaling beyond 1080p is performed and higher-resolution or high-refresh-rate sources are not supported. The fixed output standard defines the practical ceiling for any connected display.

Check Power Source and Cabling Before Ordering

The unit requires a 5V USB power supply which is not included; only the USB power cable and a 1.5ft HDMI cable ship in the box. Verify you have a spare USB port or wall adapter that can deliver 5V reliably. Ensure your source device uses female RCA composite connectors compatible with the converter's inputs. Buyers needing HDMI input, component video, S-Video or wireless streaming cannot use this adapter.
