This 1/87 scale plastic model kit from Promotex provides two Lowboy Tri-Axle Booster assemblies for model-railway and diorama builders. Each set includes the booster unit, four wheel sets and integrated rear axle with fenders. The officially licensed replicas are moulded in true-to-scale detail and arrive in the manufacturer’s original unopened packaging. Simple assembly is required before the boosters can be placed on the layout.

Injection-moulded plastic construction

The boosters are produced in durable plastic with crisp moulding that captures prototype details at HO scale. Wheel diameter is approximately .5 inches, allowing the units to roll freely on standard HO track or display bases. Integrated rear axle and fenders are moulded as part of the booster body, reducing separate parts handling during assembly. The compact booster length of approximately three inches fits typical lowboy trailer decks without overhang.
