Direct-fit ceiling mount for Sony projectors

This ceiling mount is engineered specifically for Sony VPL-DW120, DW126, DX100, DX120, DX126, DX140 and DX146 models. It positions the projector roughly 5 inches from the ceiling surface. The plate is CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for a precise, secure fit. Installers who need a model-specific solution rather than a universal bracket will find this mount matches the mounting points exactly.

Aircraft aluminium construction with lateral shift

The mount uses 100 percent 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium throughout, giving a rigid, corrosion-resistant structure. A lateral shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of left-right adjustment so the lens can be centred when the ceiling joist is off-centre. Full 360-degree rotation plus pitch and roll adjustment allow the image to be squared without shims. All mounting hardware and detailed instructions are included for a straightforward installation.

Fixed 5-inch drop with open airflow

Because the mount holds the projector at a fixed 5-inch distance from the ceiling, there is ample space around the chassis for heat to dissipate naturally. The minimal-coverage plate design avoids blocking intake or exhaust vents. No moving parts or fans are present, so the mount adds no noise or power draw to the installation. Not intended for drop or false ceilings.

Not suited for non-listed Sony models

This mount will not fit Sony projectors outside the seven model numbers listed above, nor will it work with other brands. Installers working with suspended-grid ceilings must use a different mounting system because the fixed 5-inch drop and rigid coupling are designed for solid structural attachment only.
