Optoma EP723/726/727/728 Ceiling Mount Extension

This 10-inch extension column positions an Optoma EP723, EP726, EP726i, EP727, EP727i, EP728 or EP728i projector approximately 10 inches from the ceiling surface. It is built from 100 percent 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for rigid, vibration-free support. The CNC-machined mounting plate ensures a precise fit for the listed models only, leaving adequate space around the chassis for heat to escape. All required hardware and detailed instructions are included for a straightforward drywall or wooden-beam installation.

360-Degree Rotation with +/- 80 Degree Tilt Range

The mount allows full 360-degree yaw plus pitch and roll adjustment up to 80 degrees off vertical, so the projector can be aimed precisely at the screen from a fixed ceiling point. Because the plate is model-specific rather than universal, the projector hangs securely without shifting under its own weight during extended use. The aluminium construction resists flex even when the unit is tilted to its maximum angle, keeping the image stable for long presentations or movie sessions.

Replaces Universal Mounts That Obstruct Ventilation

This extension replaces generic universal brackets that often cover intake or exhaust vents on Optoma EP series projectors. The jump is worth it when the ceiling height demands a 10-inch drop and the installer needs guaranteed fitment without drilling new holes in the projector chassis. It is not suitable for drop or false ceilings, nor for any projector model outside the EP723, EP726, EP726i, EP727, EP727i, EP728 and EP728i range.
