NEC UM280/330 series ceiling mount

This projector ceiling mount is designed specifically for NEC UM280W, UM280X, UM280Xi, UM330W, UM330Wi and UM330X models. It provides a precise, model-specific fit using a CNC-machined mounting plate made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium. The mount includes all necessary hardware and detailed instructions for a straightforward installation. It is not intended for drop or false ceilings.

Telescoping 13-20 inch extension under load

The telescoping extension positions the projector approximately 13 to 20 inches from the ceiling in one-inch increments, holding that distance rigidly once set. The 6061-T6 aluminium construction resists flex and vibration during prolonged operation, keeping the image stable. A 360-degree rotation joint plus pitch and roll adjustments stay locked under the projector's weight. Lateral shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of side-to-side correction without loosening over time.

Upgrade from universal mounts for NEC UM280/330

This mount replaces generic universal brackets that often block vents or require adapters. The custom plate minimises coverage on the projector chassis, preserving airflow for thermal management during extended use. The jump is worth it when the ceiling mounting point is offset from the screen centre, because the lateral shift centres the lens without keystone correction. Buyers whose projector model is not in the supported list cannot use this mount.
