10-inch extension for Mitsubishi projectors

This 10-inch extension column positions a Mitsubishi HC900U, HD1000U, HD3000U or HD4000U projector approximately 10 inches from the ceiling. It is built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for rigid, long-term support. The column attaches between the ceiling plate and the model-specific mounting plate. It suits installers who need a fixed drop length without adjustable telescopic sections.

Mounting integration and clearance

The extension connects the ceiling bracket to the CNC-machined projector plate using included hardware and instructions. The assembly allows 360-degree rotation and +/- 80-degree tilt for precise image alignment. Minimal plate coverage leaves room for projector heat to escape. The mount is designed for drywall or wooden-beam ceilings only and is not intended for drop or false ceiling installations.

Fixed drop length and model scope

The 10-inch drop is a set dimension; it cannot be shortened or lengthened on site. It comfortably handles the four Mitsubishi models named above and no others. The plate you receive may look different from product images but will only fit those listed projectors. Builders needing a different drop distance or a universal plate will need a different mounting solution.
