Acer Q1P1504 Z650 ceiling mount

This projector ceiling mount is built specifically for Acer Q1P1504 and Z650 models. It replaces universal brackets with a custom-machined plate that matches the projector's mounting points exactly. Installers and AV integrators can secure the unit without drilling extra holes or using adapter kits. The design leaves ventilation paths clear so the projector runs at its intended temperature.

Aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminium construction

The entire assembly is CNC machined from 100 percent 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium for rigidity and corrosion resistance. A telescoping column adjusts the drop from 13 to 20 inches in one-inch increments, while a 360-degree rotating collar allows full yaw control. An integrated lateral-shift coupling provides 1-1/2 inches of side-to-side travel to centre the lens when the ceiling joist is off-axis. All mounting hardware and illustrated instructions are included for a single-person installation.

Upgrades from universal projector brackets

This mount replaces generic ceiling plates that block vents, require shims, or leave the lens off-centre. The jump is worth it when the installation demands a precise fit, minimal projector coverage, and the ability to fine-tune lateral alignment without remounting the base. It is not intended for drop or false ceilings, so installers working with suspended grid systems should choose a different solution.
