Softbox diffuser kit for Profoto systems

The Profoto Softbox Diffuser Kit provides a 1.5 f-stop diffuser designed to soften light output and create even illumination across the frame. It reduces harsh shadows for a natural look and is built from high-quality fabrics supplied in a labelled soft pouch. The diffuser installs and removes quickly for efficient workflow changes. It is compatible with the Profoto Softbox line but not with RFi, OCF or Clic Softbox ranges.

Replaces the standard 1 f-stop diffuser

Profoto Softboxes ship with a 1 f-stop diffuser as standard; this kit upgrades that diffusion to 1.5 f-stop for a more pronounced softening effect. The jump is worth it when you need greater shadow reduction or want the diffuser to function as a neutral density filter for wider apertures and longer exposures. Photographers who require the lighter diffusion of the included 1 f-stop panel will not benefit from this kit.

Fits Profoto Softbox mounts

The diffuser slots into existing Profoto Softbox frames, so no additional mounting hardware is required. By increasing diffusion strength, it allows wider aperture settings without overexposure and enables longer shutter speeds for motion effects. The compact pouch keeps the kit portable for location work. Users of RFi, OCF or Clic Softboxes cannot mount this diffuser on those systems.
