USB Interface Limitations

Operation depends entirely on the vehicle's USB port supplying enough current to run the drive mechanism and maintain a stable data link. The system needs roughly two minutes to index each disc before playback begins, and interrupting that process forces a full restart with a different disc. Compatibility is limited to vehicles equipped with a suitable USB port and supporting firmware; cars without that port or with restricted USB power cannot use the device. No auxiliary power input or alternative connection method is provided.
