Add External CD Playback

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2021-2026 Ford F-150 Lightning models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for power and data with no extra wiring required. Installation follows the included printed instructions and takes roughly two minutes for the initial disc indexing process. The compact unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the console or in the glove box.

Plug-and-Play Operation

The device draws all power from the car's USB port so no separate supply or fuse tap is needed. Audio routes through the factory head unit and can be controlled with the existing radio buttons or steering-wheel controls. Because the connection is a simple USB plug, there is no fan, pump or moving cooling hardware to generate noise. Normal use adds negligible load to the vehicle electrical system.

Sustained Disc Access

During continuous playback the drive spins the disc at a constant rate while the USB link streams audio to the factory system. The two-minute indexing wait applies only to the first insertion of each disc; subsequent tracks start without delay. If indexing is interrupted the instructions call for a fresh disc and a repeat of the setup steps. The unit is not designed for buyers who need multi-disc changers, DVD video playback or Bluetooth streaming.
