Vehicle-specific CD add-on

Pro Star supplies an external single-disc CD player designed for 2019-2026 Nissan Rogue models that left the factory without a built-in disc drive. The unit connects to the vehicle's existing USB port so there is no need for extra wiring, adapters or professional installation. Power is drawn directly from that same USB connection, keeping the cabin free of additional power cables. Factory radio and steering-wheel controls continue to operate playback once the device is paired.

USB port compatibility

The only specification that determines fitment is the presence of a factory USB port capable of supporting CarPlay communication. If the Rogue lacks that port, or if the port is a charge-only type, the player will not function. No other interface, wireless protocol or aftermarket head unit is involved; the device relies entirely on the OEM USB connection for both data and power.

Disc capacity and indexing time

Each session handles one standard audio CD at a time, and the system requires approximately two minutes to index the disc before tracks become selectable through the factory controls. Interrupting that indexing process forces a complete restart with a different disc, so the two-minute wait is the practical limit on how quickly a new album can be played. Multi-disc changers or high-capacity media libraries are not supported.
