The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc drive to 2019-2026 Mercedes-Benz E Class vehicles that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the car's USB port for power and data with no extra wiring or tools required. The compact unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Disc Indexing And Playback

Each disc requires roughly two minutes to finish indexing before playback begins; interrupting this process means restarting the installation steps from the beginning with a different disc. Once indexed the drive reads standard audio CDs and passes the audio stream to the factory head unit. Operation is managed through the original radio or steering-wheel controls.

USB Power And Silent Operation

The player draws all its power from the vehicle USB port so there is no separate power supply or battery drain beyond the port's normal output. With no internal fan the unit runs silently during disc reads. The only electrical load is the USB connection itself which stays within the port's standard current limit.
