Connects a VGA display to USB-C devices with DisplayPort Alt Mode up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz
This USB-C to VGA adapter adds a VGA output to laptops, tablets or desktops that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode. It connects a VGA monitor, projector or TV and drives resolutions up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz. The adapter works with Windows, macOS and Linux hosts that expose video over USB-C.
The flat, flexible printed-circuit cable makes the adapter small and lightweight for transport. It resists kinking and fits tight workspaces without adding bulk. No separate drivers or software are required; the host operating system detects the display automatically.
Before ordering, confirm that your USB-C port carries a DisplayPort Alternate Mode video signal. Most current phones and tablets with USB-C do not support Alt Mode and will not work. The adapter also needs a VGA cable (not included) to reach the display.

The flat cable is built for durability and travel; no maintenance or scheduled replacement is required.
The adapter tops out at 1920x1200 @ 60 Hz, so that is the first limit you reach under sustained use.
The adapter has no fan and draws minimal power, so it stays silent and only warm to the touch.
