Check Thread Compatibility Before Use

This chuck has a 14-18 female NPT inlet thread that must match the fitting on your air hose or compressor line. It is not compatible with inflator gauges because the built-in shut-off valve prevents those devices from regulating flow. Verify that your existing hose terminates in a male NPT thread of the correct size before ordering. The locking mechanism requires enough clearance to engage the deep-well threads on the valve stem.
