Poly GC8 Touch Controller

The Poly GC8 is a dedicated video conference device built to manage meetings from a single touch interface. It targets offices and meeting rooms that need a purpose-built controller rather than a laptop or tablet. The unit is supplied new and carries GSA/TAA compliance for government procurement. It replaces ad-hoc setups with a fixed, always-ready station.

Integration into a meeting space

The controller connects to a compatible Poly video system to drive calls, content sharing and room settings. It removes the need to bring a personal device into every meeting and frees up the host computer for other work. A single network drop and power connection are the only infrastructure it requires. No extra displays or input peripherals are needed for basic operation.

Thermals, noise and power

The device runs silently with no moving parts, so it adds no audible distraction to the room. Power draw is low enough for standard PoE or the supplied adapter, keeping cabling simple. Heat output stays negligible during long conferences, allowing placement on any tabletop or wall mount. The enclosure remains cool to the touch under continuous use.
