The Plantronics MDA220 USB headset switch lets a single headset manage audio from up to three sources. It suits organisations moving to unified communications that still need desk phone connectivity, and users who alternate between a PC, a Mac and a supported desk phone. Build and connections

The accessory is finished in black and connects to a computer via USB while providing ports for compatible Plantronics headsets and desk phones. Supported headset families include Blackwire, Voyager, .Audio 615, 630M, Savi 400 series, EncorePro USB series and Entera USB models such as HW111N and HW121N. It also works with DA70, DA80, DA90 and Bluetooth USB adapters BT300 and BT600. Devices outside this compatibility list cannot be used.

Power and thermals

The switch draws power directly from the USB connection and has no internal fan, so it runs silently and adds negligible heat to a workstation. No external power supply is required, keeping cable count low. Users who need a self-powered unit with its own power adapter should look elsewhere.
