The PISKEKAT RB750Gr3 is a five-port Gigabit Ethernet router built for sites that do not need wireless connectivity. Its dual-core 880 MHz processor and 256 MB RAM deliver solid routing performance in a compact 113 x 89 x 28 mm enclosure. The unit includes a full-size USB port and a microSD slot for additional storage or logging tasks.

Capacity and headroom with 256 MB RAM

The 256 MB RAM and 880 MHz CPU handle typical wired gateway duties and IPsec hardware encryption at roughly 470 Mbps throughput. Sixteen megabytes of onboard flash store the RouterOS image and configuration files. Heavy queue trees, large connection tables or extensive proxy caching will exhaust the available memory and flash space.

USB and microSD expand storage and logging

The full-size USB port accepts modems or external drives for WAN failover or file sharing. A microSD card slot adds faster read-write speeds for The Dude server package databases and long-term log retention. Passive PoE input allows the router to be powered from a compatible upstream switch without a separate adapter.
