The Philosophy Gym barbell is a 72-inch solid steel bar built for home and commercial strength training. Weighing 15.8 lb, it handles bench presses, squats, deadlifts, rows and curls with a 400 lb maximum load. The black electrophoretic finish resists wear during daily sessions.

Star collars with spin-lock

Two star collars are included and use a spin-lock design to clamp standard 1-inch plates onto the threaded sleeves. The deep threads keep plates from shifting mid-set, so lifters can change weights quickly without tools. This hardware turns the bare bar into a complete loading system.

Medium knurling and threaded sleeves

Medium-depth diamond knurling gives a tacky, anti-slip grip that stays comfortable through high-rep work. The 1-inch threaded sleeves accept only standard plates, limiting use to 1-inch equipment. Lifters needing Olympic 2-inch plates or a higher capacity bar will need different hardware.
