Industrial Media Converter

The Perle S-110PP-S2ST20-XT is a hardened media converter built for industrial networks that must run in extreme temperatures. It connects 10/100Base-TX copper equipment to 100Base-LX fiber while delivering Power over Ethernet to compliant cameras, sensors or wireless access points. The rugged steel enclosure and extended operating range suit traffic, energy and outdoor infrastructure.

Bundled Strap and Converter

The package includes the media converter itself and a power strain relief strap that secures the power connection against vibration or cable pull. No additional software, licences or management modules are supplied, so the unit operates as a transparent link once powered and cabled. Installers gain a ready-to-mount solution without sourcing separate mounting hardware.

Temperature and Distance Headroom

The converter operates continuously from -40 °C to +75 °C (-40 °F to +167 °F), covering the harshest outdoor cabinets and industrial sites. It extends copper links up to the 100Base-LX fiber distance limit while supplying PoE or PoE+ power to the remote device. Networks that require gigabit speeds, longer single-mode reach or commercial-grade temperature ratings fall outside this model’s design envelope.
