The Pelican 1300 Watertight Mini-D Hard Case in orange is a rugged camera case constructed from Ultra High Impact structural copolymer. It delivers watertight, crushproof and dustproof protection for valuable electronics in extreme conditions. An automatic pressure equalisation valve balances internal pressure after altitude or depth changes. Stainless steel hardware and an O-ring seal complete the fortress-like construction.

Floats with 11.90 lbs load

The case is rated to float in salt water while carrying up to 11.90 lbs (5.4 kg) of equipment. This buoyancy specification is the single figure that tells you whether the case can stay on the surface with your specific kit inside. If your gear exceeds that weight the case will not provide positive flotation. The 1/4" (6.4 mm) neoprene O-ring and ABS Double Throw latches maintain the watertight seal under load.
