The Pelican 1200 Watertight Mini-S Hard Case is a new protective enclosure built from ultra high-impact structural copolymer. It carries an IP67 rating via a 6.4 mm neoprene O-ring seal and ABS latches, making it watertight, airtight and dustproof. An automatic purge valve equalises pressure after altitude or temperature changes. The case includes a high-density foam insert that can be custom-cut to fit specific equipment shapes.

Ideal for Field Kits; Not for Large Rigs

This case suits photographers, drone operators or technicians who need to carry a small camera body, lenses, electronics or tools in harsh outdoor or industrial environments. Its internal volume is limited by the compact exterior dimensions, so it cannot accommodate full-size rigs, large telephoto lenses, multiple camera bodies or bulky lighting kits. Buyers who need to transport larger kits or rack-mounted gear should look at larger protective cases.

Ready to Use; Cut Foam Carefully

The case arrives assembled with the foam insert already installed, so no tools or assembly are required. Customising the interior is done by plucking out pre-scored foam cubes to match each item’s outline; the main risk is removing too much material, which leaves equipment loose. The purge valve operates automatically, but the O-ring seal must be kept clean and free of grit to maintain the IP67 barrier.
