Closed Deck Pulley Block

The Peerless closed deck pulley block is designed for lifting and pulling tasks using fibrous rope up to 3/8 in diameter. It suits rigging professionals and maintenance crews who need a compact, bolt-on block for straight-line or redirected pulls. The steel housing and sleeve bearing provide a simple mechanical advantage without powered components.

Upright Mount Integration

The upright mount bolts directly to a flat surface using a 7/32 in mounting hole, freeing the operator from temporary rigging points. A single sheave with a 1 1/2 in outside diameter and 1 3/32 in inside diameter accommodates the specified rope while the 17/32 in sheave depth keeps the line seated. The block accepts fibrous rope only and is not rated for wire rope or synthetic lines outside the 3/8 in limit.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Under continuous tension the sleeve bearing distributes friction evenly across the steel sheave, reducing localized heat buildup during long pulls. Because the working load limit is not rated, the block must be used within a safety factor determined by the site engineer. It is not suited for applications requiring a certified load rating or for dynamic shock-loading scenarios.
