This PAUTIX COB LED strip runs 3 metres and packs 640 LEDs at 320 LEDs per metre, delivering 1200 lumens of 3000 K warm white light with a CRI above 90. It draws 10 watts at 5 volts and is dimmable through a 10-level button controller that remembers the last setting. The flexible PCB uses double-layer copper and genuine 3M adhesive for a secure bond on clean, dry, smooth surfaces. Power comes from any USB-A port that can supply 5 V / 2 A, such as a TV, computer or laptop port, and the integrated power cable measures 2.6 ft.

Check your USB port can supply 5 V 2 A before

The strip requires a USB-A port rated for at least 5 volts and 2 amps; lower-output ports will cause flickering or failure to light. Verify the surface is flat, dry and free of dust so the 3M tape adheres properly, because the strip is not designed for rough or textured mounting areas. Note the IP30 rating means it is not waterproof, so keep it away from moisture, splashes or outdoor use. The 2.6 ft power cable length should reach your chosen USB source without tension or sharp bends.

Replaces single-colour tape lights that lack high

Builders upgrading from basic LED tape that shows colour shift or has no dimmer memory will gain consistent 3000 K output, 10-step dimming and instant recall of the previous level. The jump is worth it when you need accurate colour rendering for kitchen prep, display shelves or bias lighting behind a TV, and want a single 3-metre run powered directly from a USB port. It is not suited for installations that require tunable white, RGB colour change, longer continuous runs beyond 3 metres, or any damp or outdoor location.
