Practical limits of the 20x magnification

At 20x power the field of view is 1000 yards, which narrows the scene considerably compared with lower-power models. Hand-held use at this magnification amplifies natural tremor, so a tripod or stable rest is often needed for steady viewing. The large 56 mm apertures gather ample light for dawn and dusk, yet exit pupil size may limit brightness in very dark conditions. Waterproof O-ring sealing protects against moisture and dust but does not make the unit submersible.
